Cataloging is not dead, Choice is alive

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

This is the quote that Alan Rimm-Kaufman uses to introduce a 15 minute Q&A we conducted last week. Alan asked excellent questions and our answers are detailed on his blog. Read the entire interview here.

The interview covers the background leading up to the launch of Catalog Choice, our relationship with merchants and our vision for the future.

Thanks to Alan for conducting the interview. If you are a merchant, I highly recommend that you read it.

Great coverage from the blogosphere

Our launch this morning is gathering steam.  We got great posts from the Daily Kos and TechCrunch.  Whether you read left wing political blogs like Daily Kos or follow the Web start-up world through TechCrunch, you will learn about our great new free service.

We did run into a bug when we got hit with lots of concurrent sign-up requests.  The bug is fixed, the sign-ups are flowing in and in a month or two, the catalogs will slow down.   If you ran into the sign-up bug, come on back.
