HI Tracy:

Thanks for the support! Through thick and thin, we knew that we could make sense out of this complex process. It is a win-win-win - consumers, companies and the environment!

Best, Chuck

I don't see how anyone could object to those answers. I continue to feel very good about Catalog Choice. I've consistently received fewer than one catalog per week for a number of months now. My records show that I've contacted only ten companies personally since joining Catalog Choice in 2007. Dozens of other opt-out requests have been honored much more efficiently through my Catalog Choice account.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I read this part of Abacus' publication: "In addition to these steps, we also recommend that you run your suppression file at your service bureau during the merge process." That seems like such an obvious good practice, but I guess it's not standard. I'm pretty sure that the company that I PSform1500'ed was omitting that little detail from their process, since they couldn't seem to suppress their mailings to me despite repeated requests.

But overall, it's clear that phenomenal progress has been made toward addressing a very complex issue. It's wonderful to see so many people working together on meaningful, win-win solutions. I am grateful.
