The Climate Group has developed a website – Together.com – that provides practical solutions from brands and NGOs that anyone can use to do something to improve climate change. We believe in practical solutions, so Catalog Choice has become a Together.com partner. You can see a reference to our solution here and more information about our involvement here.
There is no silver bullet to fighting climate change. Together.com provides an array of simple solutions that you can adopt. Here is a sample of some that you will find on their site:

Hubby and I have been getting more and more green. It takes time and $. The big one next year will be a wind generator, our plans have been approved by our neighborhood association.
I cringe when I get a 25-50 page catalog that we’ve opted out of even if it is recycled.
In the past 6 months my weekly wash has been reduced from 5 loads to 3. If necessary, we can push clothes washing to bi monthly.
An invest of about two dozen microfiber towels have reduced paper towel purchases by 50% because I wash them with part of the 3 loads.
The big problem is the recycle bins stragetically placed in our city are always full.
Since 2004, we bring our own bags to grocery stores and most grocery chains give the customer 5 cents per bag.
Lighting was worth the investment to LED floods and other “green” sources.
Timers for bathroom fans had been worth it as well.
CC.org, keep educating. Thanks!
