  3. I didn’t believe it would work, but it does. My mailbox is practically empty these days. Whenever a new catalog arrives, I gleefully log on to Catalog Choice and make it disappear! Thanks very much for a useful and planet-friendly service.

  4. I do want a lot of these catalogs, but not on paper and not in my mailbox, destined for the recycle bin before ever being read. I would like to see ‘opt in’ opportunities, reminders for links to the electronic versions as the seasons and inventory change.

  6. Just moved into my new home. The first day’s mail pickup yielded 13 catalogs addressed to the previous owner. I asked the mailman to discard all catalogs not addressed to me. He circled “Or Current Resident” and replied “these catalogs are addressed to your home” and put them back in the mailbox. Your website was my next alternative. The catalog companys sure have it all covered!

  7. This is a terrific service. I do much of my purchasing online but unfortunately that means getting deluged with catalogs from the companies I buy from. If I want to buy something, I go to their website, not their catalog. I don’t want their catalogs. The catalogs just get tossed in the recycle bin as soon as they come in so it’s a waste for the companies to mail them to me. I am glad there is finally a way to stop them from coming.

  8. Yor should start a Facebook “group” instead of how it is set up to become a “fan”. It’s easier to spread the word to friends if it is set up as a group.

  12. It’s a great idea in concept, but when, oh when, will the catalogs actually stop coming? I’ve waited 10 weeks for some, and yet they continue to appear. I am sure, from the comments I’ve read, that this really does work, and I sure can’t wait to see it for myself.

  14. This is an absolutely fabulous service. I’m looking forward to a very empty mailbox. Now for the next notorious paper wasters - how do we get rid of the stupid shopping guides from local newspapers that always fall out of the mailbox and scatter all over the floor. Don’t they know everybody throws this stuff out????

  15. I can’t believe I finally found a service like this!! I get SO many unwanted catalogs I have no interest in, and I always feel sorry for the postal people who have to do the delivering. I am also happy that these undesired paper goods won’t now go into the waste stream either. I’m going to tell as many people as I can about this website and service. And, BTW, it’s a really attractive, user-friendly and easy to read site as well. Keep up the great work!!

  16. I’m thrilled to have one place to get out of the catalog business. I’m up to 50 catalogs declined. Note to everyone: Watch the Names and Customer #s on each of the catalogs you receive. I’ve noticed that catalogs are being sent to both me and my husband. And the same catalog will arrive with different customer numbers.
