I found your site on technorati and read a few of your other posts. Keep up the good work. I just added your RSS feed to my Google News Reader. Looking forward to reading more from you....

Interestingly there is another benefit to Catalog Choice, finding a catalog I have not received that interested me.

I have become addicted to telling people about this website! Some of my friends roll their eyes at me now when I start talking about it...I don't have the best memory and sometimes, i've already raved about the site to them!
I have a box that I keep beside our couch that's been designated the "discontinue catalog" box so that everyday when my husband & I go through the mail, anything that we don't want filling our mailbox any longer gets dropped in there. I've been logging on about 2x's a week to keep up with the cancelling. Sometimes, if the catalog has good gift ideas or something I might be intereseted in at a later time, I go to the "My choices" page, click on the details and bookmark the catalog's website for future use. THANK YOU CATALOG CHOICE!!!!

Within the first 10 days of joining the website I had declined over 150 catalogs - all newly arrived, some of which were in triplicate under different variations of my name; some arriving every week, few if any of the remotest interest, all ending up in 3 large recycling bins every week. I have reported another 30 or so to the database for consideration, and look forward to the day when I can retrieve my mail from the box without all this wasteful nonsense. Do catalog companies ever notice that I don't buy anything???

Thank you for your efforts in helping us all rid ourselves of this mailbox plague!!!

Thank you so much for doing this. I will try to get others to do this. I have been concerned about this for a long time.
